Founded in 2003, STUDIODANZ is one of Hong Kong’s leading dance studios, is situated in Taikoo in Hong Kong.

Faculty

Believing that dance is for everyone. STUDIODANZ offers a wide selection of regular classes for all levels, such as Hip Hop, House, Locking and Popping, Jazz and Jazz Funk, Contemporary, Urban Dance, Breaking and Heels. Our distinctive faculty is comprised of over 45 experienced instructors, professional dancers and choreographers from around the world. We share with you not only our knowledge and expertise but also our dedication and passion in dance. You can definitely find a class or a favorite teacher that meets your interest and schedule!

Training

STUDIODANZ strives to nurture young talents by providing different platforms for professional dancers and local school students.

STUDIODANZ have provided various intensive dance development programs, Showbiz Project, AS Dance Project and Female Project are designed for those who are looking to become professional working dancers. Chor.Outlet is focus on choreography training. These programs are designed to nurture more local choreographers and enhance their creativity and choreographic development. School Performing Arts in Practice Scheme (SPAPS), in collaboration with Leisure and Cultural Services Department, has been providing local secondary school students access to dance education since 2015.

STUDIODANZ often takes part in numerous community and outreach activities such as Dance Day and Expo 2019 Beijing – Hong Kong Day, with a view to promoting dance locally and overseas.

Production

In order to bring enjoyment of dance to the community, STUDIODANZ has continuous presented various quality dance productions, competitions and dance festivals over the past years.

Annual STUDIODANZ Showcase takes place twice a year in the summer and the winter, all students are given the opportunity to gain on-stage experience and develop valuable skills as a performer in an open performance. The Best Dance Crew dance competition and our annual  STUDIODANZ Dance Festival, both are among the large-scale events in Hong Kong, offers the local dancers quality performances and valuable exchange opportunities in supporting and enhancing the overall learning experience, their creativity and dance and performance skills. SDZ Lab also brings high quality and inspiring works of internationally renowned choreographers to the local dance artists and audience.

STUDIODANZ is also often commissioned by local famous singers to work on choreography and stage performance for their concerts.
